This year the International Law School Mediation Tournament is co-sponsored by and located at Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Loyola School of Law facilities are designed to sustain a sense of community and collaboration. The Philip H. Corboy Law Center is located at 25 East Pearson Street in the heart of Chicago's vibrant Gold Coast, just off Michigan Avenue and close to public transportation. The School of Law occupies eight floors of this building, sharing the lower levels with students from other divisions of the University. A recent renovation of School of Law facilities resulted in significantly expanded space, including new clinical and student gathering spaces. The technologically advanced Power Rogers & Smith Ceremonial Courtroom, new faculty and administrative offices, and modern classrooms.
The trainings and large group gatherings will be taking place in Kasbeer Hall (15th floor), and the Ceremonial Courtroom (10th floor.) In order to reach Kasbeer, you must use one of the elevators on the South (left) bank of elevators.
Loyola Law School has recently updated its lobby. Participants, coaches, judges, and guests must wear their competition badges in order to gain entry to the building.
In an effort to be more sustainable, Loyola has reduced its use of plastic cups. If you think you may need water during the weekend, please bring a refillable water bottle that you can re-use. All of the water fountains are equipped with bottle faucets. Water fountains are located on each floor past the bank of elevators.
